    Undergraduate school at USC took me 7 years to complete, since the entire time I was working at Younger.

    My major was business with an emphasis in accounting. Accounting is the "Language of Business" and I recommend any serious student of business to have a strong knowledge of accounting.

    COLA (California Optical Laboratory Association)

    The Goodfellow Award, founded in 1981, honors laboratory and manufacturing leaders who are active contributors to the advancement of the optical industry. The California Optical Laboratory Association (COLA), now known as the California Lab Committee, is part of The Vision Council Optical Labs Division.

    The Optical Pioneers Hall of Fame is intended to honor individuals for their contributions to the optical laboratory industry. The Optical Pioneer Membership is a recognition program for individuals with 20 years of experience in the Optical Laboratory Industry.

    The Vision Council Optical Labs Division

    The Directors' Choice Award was established by the Optical Laboratories Association (OLA) in 1987 to honor individuals, companies or organizations that have made outstanding contributions to the ophthalmic industry. Now the Optical Lab Division of The Vision Council carries on that tradition. The award is still recognized as one of the most prestigious honors in the industry.
